![]() Meters are at their best when all you see is what you need to see. The Hornet loudness meter is a nice example of something very simple and easy to read, though it has a lot of config fluff showing at all times. And I could have googled before posting, yes Would someone care to explain how Reaper's meter values relate to what Youlean's loudness meter shows?ĮDIT: OK I found this which explains most of it, I think. I read all those numbers when playback has stopped at the end of the last item (and this is why I do not care about the -24.2 LUFS short term value). Youlean Loudness Meter tells me -6.7 LUFS integrated, 3.0 LU loudness range, -4.0 LUFS momentary max, -4.9 LUFS short term max, and 0.1 dB true peak max. This is with all offsets for Reapers's master meter set to 0, and window set to 300 ms. I just played a mix through it and Reaper's master meter tells me peaks -1.1 for both channels, and RMS -8.0 and -7.8 for left and right, respectively. ![]() I am not sure what it is that the plugin tells me. maybe you think that this is off-topic in this thread, if so just let me know and I'll move it. ![]() First, congrats to Youlean for winning the KVR Development Challenge 2016!
